Thank you all!!!
A big, big thanks to the five bands for putting on such powerful shows, and keeping their spirits up for a grand finale, that will certainly be something to remember for years to come!
We apologise for the blackout. It took us a while to locate the error - beer and electricity do not mix that well - but the Tactical Sekt show ended up being a unique experience due to the circumstances.
Special thanks goes out to our security people and fire watch for the help during the evening and expecially during the blackouts, to Hotel Kong Frederik for giving us towels during the night for the last bands, and to Jesper who helped out in the wardrobe, when it was needed the most!
And finally we want to thank our Swedish brothers and sisters who were present in great numbers, for paying attention to what happens across the waters, and supporting the scene.
The first two photo albums are already up and available at the Stahlwerk Galleries, for those who want to see pictures from the night. They will also be available right here at this website soon.
We would also like to hear from anyone else who has been taking pictures.
We hope to see all of you again next year! And for those of you who can't wait, we recommend checking out both the Agonoize and VNV Nation shows, happening as soon as this October.

Official pre-party!
Join us the day before the festival for the official pre-party at Faust!On the 28th of September, DJs Brain and Dominator will be joined by our favourite crazy Norwegian DJ Caligari, as they entertain the masses at Club Faust in Huset i Magstræde. It will of course be possible to hear songs by all the bands playing at this year's festival, as our DJs fire up the dance floor.
Entrance is only DKK 20,- for those with Das Boot tickets, and 50,- for everyone else.

With band mainman Anthony Mather moving to America we are very lucky to have tempted them over to come and play at DAS BOOT 2007. It will be their only show in Scandinavia in 2007... And their first in Europe for nearly 2 years!! What can we say about Tactical Sekt? One of the best live bands on the scene, they are incredibly infectious when playing live. Musically they have confirmed themselves as being at the very top of their game after bursting onto the scene as originally a side-project of Aslan Faction.. now Tactical Sekt has outgrown it's former band and with a string of forceful beat and bassline driven club hits under its belt, they are still a DJ and club goers' best friend!

Painbastard – label mates of [:SITD:], Painbastard are quickly getting recognition as being a great new talent in the Dark Electro arena. Always successful in the influential DAC (German Alternative Charts) they have a lot of critical acclaim, and rightfully so. The band blends dark electro with elements of Leæther Strip style epic works. What is so wonderful about the band is its diversity, we’re certain that you will love Painbastard and we recommend that you go check them out...

Destroid is the new noisey and dark side-project from the legend Daniel Myer. Daniel Myer started his days with the amazing Haujobb and today he pours all his artistic and creative genius into the full-on audio assault that is Destroid. Its broken beats with industrial overtones, music for a post apocalyptic world and an amazing band to kick start the festival. Don't be late... you won't want to miss this genuine Electro scene legend in his latest incarnation!

We also will be having an afterparty club after the last band has finished... you won't want to miss it. Top Electro DJ Cyberchrist will headline the club event playing the very latest Electro and Dark Electro and he's sure to have some world exclusives in his DJ Box for the festival faithful. DJ Cyberchrist has been a number of times to Copenhagen, notably last year's DAS BOOT FESTIVAL but also at Black Cat and Club Stahlwerk. His residency is at the Vampire Party in Antwerp, and he is co-founder of the DAS BOOT FESTIVAL. DJ Cyberchrist is one of Europe's most in-demand DJ's playing at Festivals and clubs all over Europe including Germany, Holland, France, the UK and Spain.

First bands!
In 2006 we were incredibly fortunate to have secured a line up to die for, we are proud to announce that in 2007 we have got probably our best line up yet!We will be uploading MP3s of all the bands hits for you to listen to yourselves in the coming weeks. If you don't know one of the bands, don't worry! These are quality bands, not a dud amongst them, so you'd better turn up early, you won't want to miss any of these amazing bands!
[:SITD:] will be the first headliner and this is their first concert on Danish soils.

Sero.Overdose are also playing in Denmark for the first time. These wonderful futurepop darlings from Germany bring an enchanting melodic pop edge to the futurepop sound. Alfa-Matrix signed, this band is consistently in the DAC and is probably one of the finest purveyors of melodic futurepop out there right now. Hugely talented with wonderful lush vocals and synthlines, sero.overdose have been getting incredible rave reviews for their concerts. They don't play live often, so lovers of electro, futurepop and electro-pop, this is an opportunity not to be missed!

Das Boot festival @ Pressen, Copenhagen
On Saturday 29th September 2007 a new kind of danger has come ashore to infiltrate the centre of Copenhagen for one night of Electronic Industrial mayhem.The second DAS BOOT FESTIVAL will take place in the suitably industrial landscape of Pressen situated slap bang in the middle of Copenhagen on Radhuspladsen and will feature EBM/Electro/Industrial bands never before seen on the Danish mainland.
The MS Stubnitz battle weary after the last skirmishes in Danish waters has given way so that a new industrial venue in the heart of town, could bring a new generation of land loving Electro-heads a festival to make Denmark proud.
The bastard child of promoters Stahlwerk, BrainCorp, The Black Cat and Cyberchrist this festival promises to be the finest ever held on Danish soil.
After the amazing success of the inaugural DAS BOOT FESTIVAL in 2006, it was difficult to find a line-up to top the first... However with an amazing ability to seduce potential bands with the promise of perhaps the finest and most volatile of festival audiences, we have managed to secure a line up to die for.
In the coming weeks we will be announcing this killer line-up, murderous band, by murderous band, so stay tuned...
Oh and did we mention that this festival will also have a roster of top international DJ's to entertain during the festival and indeed if that's not enough for you we intend to finish you off with an afterparty that will leave you begging for more?
